Deploy it the way you deploy everything else

A .dmg for Mac and .msi and .exe installers for Windows, so Rexii fits into Jamf Pro, Munki, Intune or SCCM. A Mac configuration profile is available.

    Privacy your administrators enforce

A managed settings file turns on the local-only lock for everyone. Cloud AI is refused, users see the setting locked, and they can't turn it off.

Provenance and AI disclosure in every file

Every Word, PowerPoint and Excel file carries a machine-readable AI disclosure: the model, whether it ran locally, whether privacy mode was on, and when it was made. A provenance record notes the model, settings and number of sources behind it. Designed to support the transparency duties in Article 50 of the EU AI Act.

    Audit records you can export

Settings › Compliance exports the audit trail, including a log of every outbound request from the last 30 days, never the content of files.

What stays local, and what needs the network

The full picture for your security review, in plain language.

    Stays on your machine

    • Your files. The PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, CSVs and folders you give Rexii are read on your computer, and anything built from them is generated locally.

    • AI processing in Privacy mode. The language model runs on your machine, so your prompts and document text are processed locally.

    • Your voice in Privacy mode. Speech recognition runs on-device.

    • Everything Rexii makes. Generated documents, memory, history and the audit trail are stored in your home folder.

Uses the network, only for these

    • Web research you ask for. Search queries go out and public pages are read. When a request uses files you attached, Rexii asks before anything goes online.

    • Decks on public topics. Rexii may send public facts it has already gathered to a free cloud writer to polish the wording. Never used for anything built from your files.

    • Cloud mode, if you switch to it. Typed and spoken requests can go to cloud AI models for extra capability. Privacy mode keeps the model on your machine.

    • Accounts you connect. Gmail, Slack, Notion or your calendar, only when you use them.

    • Updates and crash reports. Update checks send version information only. Crash reports are opt-in.

With the local-only lock on, cloud AI is refused, and any web request on work that uses your files needs the user's approval first.
